Longer story of visorGlasses:
During 2021, while working from a laptop in the backyard, through under a canopy, the sun was still so bright; the Windows Surface Book laptop was heating up with its screen maxed at 100%. After only a short time the sun brightness would cause a lot of stress on my eyes.
I tried a using a regular visor hat, though it didn't help much. However when I put my hands around my eyes (like goggles) it had a huge impact on reducing sun glare and lighting stress;
I ordered a pair of swimming goggles from Amazon, painted the lenses and drilled a hole through each lens of goggles (to make a smaller restricted view) viewing only the laptop and allowing less light to enter. It was super cool, immediately the stress of sunlight exposure was calmed, looking at the screen was like reading with my eyes closed; I could also turn down the screen brightness, reduse heat from laptop and save energy. It kind of like putting on noise-canceling headphones for the first time. Likereading with myeyes closed; glare-canceling without a lens.
Later I discovered Visor Glasses has use many other practical uses: school, workplace (both indoor and outdoor), travel, sports... Visor glasses creates privacy and focus free environment, distraction canceling a doorway to silence.
With visorglasses the brightness on the laptop could then be turned down from 100% to save energy and not overheat the device. The experience of viewing the laptop that way was very calming, no sun glare kind of like reading with my eyes closed. It was an amazing process, reduces the amount of surrounding light by like 9x, while reading a book, E-reader, laptop and more.
The following year while working, I ran into someone that did machinery fabrication, he was generously able to print visorGlasses model prototype on a 3D printer.
Turns out, visorGlasses have tunes of outdoor / indoor applications for school, work, sports, and casual wear.
Looking back, my estimate is I'm not the first one to think of the idea, however having launched a few small websites, I thought to promote the idea. After emailing & texting several eyewear vendors of the idea, though hearing back from no one, I decided to patent the concept, and produce it myself (adding an adjustable viewport) privacy focus guard, light reducing eyewear, as well as provide rights to license the patent to eyewear vendors.
